We have prepared the following guide to assist you with your electronic file preparation and submission. If you have a specific problem that is not covered in this guide, or have other questions, please feel free to contact us. Improperly prepared files can cause delays in manufacturing.
Quick Check-list
All fonts are included.
►Type is legible and crisp.
►Page layout is correct.
►Margins are set.
►Artwork matches the specified dimensions.
►All linked files, images, and fonts are placed in separate folders.
►Colors in CMYK mode.
Bleeds
A 3mm border must be added to pictures and designs bleeding to the edge, so that there is no white space or border showing around the artwork. It is also important to keep text at least a 4-5mm away from the paper edge or the trim line to prevent accidental cropping.
Colour Specifications
Print previews are not a safe and sure measuring tool for colour accuracy. Colours on the file might be effected by monitor calibration, screen resolution and lighting, just to name a few. Many Pantone colours show a marked colour shift when converted to four colour process.
To achieve the desired colour on press, digital files must reflect accurate colour models and percentage. Please make sure all colors are in CMYK mode for colour accuracy and a better quality output.
Image Resolutions
►All images and pictures should be 300 dpi.
►Rasterized text or logos should be 1200 dpi.
►Screen values should be between 133 lpi and 150 lpi.
Guidelines by Application
The following outlines the specific file requirements by application. If you have any questions, please contact our graphics department.
Adobe Photoshop
►Files should be 300 dpi at 100% of actual size for quality offset reproduction.
►Files should be saved in PDF format (embed all fonts and set the screen value to 133 lpi.)
Digital Proofs
When required we can provide PDF files as electronic soft proofs. These digital proofs intend to show you the layout and design elements of your job, but cannot be a guarantee of colour accuracy. If colour accuracy is of extreme importance to you, we suggest ordering the smallest quanity available for that product to minimise your financial exposure and then make your larger order once you are happy with the colours you have used. Scan all transparencies and line art at 100% of final size unless data size is prohibitive. If such a case occurs, scan at 1/4 or 1/2 of final size. On the product pages are the options to BROWSE DESIGN, UPLOAD YOUR DESIGN or CUSTOM DESIGN.
BROWSE DESIGN will allow you to look through our existing templates for you customise, UPLOAD YOUR DESIGN will allow you to upload your own custom artwork, and CUSTOM DESIGN will provide you with a blank design where you can let your imagination run wild.

Delivery and Payment
The price of our standard delivery is £4.95 per complete order. For this you can have as many items in your order as you wish and still only pay the £4.95 charge once.
We ship using Royal Mail or for larger items Parcelforce. All our shipments are sent first class tracked.
If you select Pickup during checkout, your order will not be mailed shipped to you. You can pick it up at my office. This is a FREE option. If you later decide you want it shipped I will charge the standard rate £ 4.95 plus £ 1.00 Admin Fee.
We accept both debit and credit card transactions which we securely process without additional charges.
PayPal we also accept which can be selected as an option at checkout.
Additionally we accept BACS payments directly into our Bank account or Check payments. Check payments incur a charge of £3.50 for processing. Please note that checks and BACS payments need to clear before we start with the production.
All online payments we receive are secured via a secure payment server using the highest possible commercially available level of encryption.
No financial information is stored on any of our websites because it is all processed through our payment merchant.
All prices include VAT, so if you are VAT registered than you can claim back which makes our low prices even cheaper!
Please contact us before ordering if you are VAT exempt or a registered charity.
As all printing is done to your specification there is no refund offered. All sales are final. You have the chance to check your artwork in the online designer before printing is done. If you are not happy keep changing until you are happy with it or let me design it for you. You will be sent a proof before printing and once this is authorised, no changes can be made.
Hosting, Emails & E-Store
To access your Webmail please go to webmail.Your-Domain.co.uk use the Email Address and the password to log-in.
Log into your Email account. On the left hand side you find SETTINGS. Click on settings and then on PASSWORD. You will need to enter the current password and the new password you want to change it to.
To log into your Website go to your-domain.co.uk/wp-admin
If you have Domain Forwarding to your Essens Store with us please send us a message and we will do the changes for you.
When you are logged into your Shop, go to Products on the left hand side and click on Add New. Complete the steps and click on save.
When you are logged into your online Store go to Woocommerce Settings and click on Payments at the top.
Go to Woocommerce Settings in your online store administration area and click on Shipping at the Top.
